Important Tips:

Choose the right keywords, density, and their placement throughout the page because this will have a direct effect on how well the page ranks in search engines. Each engine has their own preference so be aware of it. They change constantly to combat spamming and unfriendly ranking tactics. Keyword density usually falls within 2 - 8 percent of the total word count. Most search engines are case insensitive, meaning there is no need to capitalize every keyword in your META tags. You only need to capitalize words that would normally be written that way ( Names, Countries, etc). The same rule also applies to the plural form of words, where it would be natural to use the plural. Don't use more than a few META keyword tags for misspelled versions, unless they are also popular. Your Page's META Description tag should be 2 or 3 keyword rich but short sentences, up to about 150 characters average length (some search engines allow more than double that).
